This deep purple cuvée represents a blend of the Slovak variety Rosa and traditional Blaufränkisch, which fermented together in an open vat. Magula Baccara 2019 is a unique organic wine that subsequently matured in a 500-liter oak barrel, gaining its depth and structure. Its character reflects inspiration from the queen of roses, Black Baccara, with the rare Slovak new-breed Rosa grown directly on the Ružová hora vineyard in Suchá nad Parnou.

By its nature, it is a spontaneously fermented, unfiltered, and unfined wine that maintains maximum authenticity and the natural expression of the grapes. The aroma and taste are dominated by a floral and fruity profile with a distinct signature of the terroir, complemented by a subtle influence of wood. This wine will appeal to anyone looking for unconventional and honest Slovak red wine with a soul, produced with an emphasis on biodynamic principles and minimal intervention in the cellar.

Serving: at a temperature of 16 – 18 °C, with dark venison, beef steak, or matured blue cheeses.
