Pomfy Frankovka modrá 2021 | Red Dry Wine

A premium dry red wine featuring a beautiful purple-red hue, crafted with exceptional precision. The production method involved heating the grapes to 16 °C before fermentation, followed by spontaneous wild fermentation. Fermentation took place in a stainless steel vinificator for 17 days using the "pump over" technique at temperatures up to 26.5 °C, with malolactic fermentation occurring during the fermentation stage. The wine acquired its extraordinary character and depth through a long, 38-month aging process in both large and small oak casks.

Its captivating fruity aroma offers notes of ripe sour cherries and plums, complemented in the background by a noble oak touch along with a hint of dried leaves and dark chocolate. The palate is perfectly mature, rich, and medium-bodied. It delights with its fruity profile, exemplary soft tannins, and beautifully harmonious acidity that lingers into a long finish.

Serving: at a temperature of 16 - 18 °C with roasted red meat, game, steaks, or mature hard cheeses.
