It all started quite simply - with curiosity and a distaste for mediocrity. In the beginning, there was a simple question: Why should we drink something produced in millions of liters without a hint of character, when there are winemakers, brewers, and soft drink producers all around us who put a piece of themselves into every bottle? And so, we set out to find them. We visited breweries, vineyards, and small craft workshops so that we wouldn’t have to offer thousands of random products, but only those we would truly stand behind.

Our journey began with wine and craft beer, but gradually, our beverage world began to grow under our hands. We discovered that the same attention deserved by a fine wine or an honestly hopped IPA is also deserved by craft cider, unconventional spirits, or modern functional soft drinks. While craft remains our solid foundation, today you will also find proven classics and world-renowned brands in our selection, which we carefully choose according to the same quality criteria.

From a local passion in Trenčín, we have gradually grown into an e-shop that connects honest producers with curious people across Europe. Today, we are a team of people who enjoy discovering flavors you might not have even heard of yet.

Who is behind it all?

We are a small but strong team. It is led by Martin and Andrej, who keep pushing DrinkShop forward, even when it’s challenging. Besides leading the company, Martin also manages the wholesale department, so whether you’re drinking a well-chilled craft special, a fruit juice, or a fresh lemonade in your favorite venue, he is likely the one behind it.

Monika, who rules over purchasing, makes sure there is always plenty to choose from and that the best pieces are never missing from our offer. The online world and retail orders are in the hands of Veronika, who ensures that our e-shop is a place everyone loves to return to. In the field, we are represented by Peťo, Rišo a Peťo, who are constantly on the move, looking for new opportunities and making sure that quality drinks are not missing from the right places. Precise packaging is managed by Tatiana, who ensures that every bottle or can arrives in perfect condition. And then there are the boys in the warehouse and on the road – Adam, Maťo, and Aďo, who take care of the safe and timely delivery of goods to a variety of pubs, bars, restaurants and caffes from Bratislava to Banská Bystrica.

For us, DrinkShop is not just about the soulless sale of beverages. It’s about a community of producers whose work we respect, and a community of customers who look for quality without compromise. We believe that life is too short to drink boring drinks. That is why our priority is a selection of products with an emphasis on clear origin and a real story in the background.
