Karpatská perla Frankovka Modrá (Nad Polankou) 2021 | Red Dry Wine

This Blaufränkisch from the Nad Polankou vineyard is a proud representative of the Small Carpathian terroir from the village of Vištuk. The wine boasts an intense dark ruby color and a fruity character, dominated by the aroma of ripe cherries. Through 12 months of aging in barrique barrels, the wine has acquired a soft and elegant palate that is perfectly balanced. 

The quality of this vintage is further confirmed by significant international accolades gathered at global forums. The wine earned a silver medal at the prestigious AWC Vienna 2024 and repeated this success at the Sakura Awards 2026. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, this dry red wine represents a harmonious whole, blending the traditional methods of the Karpatská perla winery with modern trends such as vegan-friendly processing.

Serving: at a temperature of 16-18 °C with a traditional local specialty – roasted goose with potato "lokše" and red cabbage.
