Pomfy Chardonnay (Čachtice) 2024 | White Dry Wine

A premium dry white wine that immediately catches the eye with its bright, sparkling golden-green color. Its production focused on rapid grape processing and whole-cluster pressing. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16 – 19 °C for 30 days, and the wine acquired its unique character through 8 months of maturation on the fine lees. Before bottling, it was only coarsely filtered once to retain its maximum natural qualities.

Its subtle aroma surprises with an elegant minerality of wet stone and resin, complemented in the background by a delicate hint of honeydew melon. The palate reveals a smooth and light flavor dominated by notes of green apple, spring flowers, and fresh lemon zest. The overall impression is harmoniously balanced by exemplary acidity with a delicious, pleasantly sweet finish.

Serving: at a temperature of 12 °C with baked sea fish, creamy pasta, herb-roasted chicken, or semi-hard cheeses.
