Slobodné vinárstvo

Already the fifth generation of winemakers manages the land in Zemianske Sady near Hlohovec. In a low-impact way, exclusively from grapes grown organically in its own vineyard, it produces pure wines under the brand Slobodné vinárstvo, true to the qualities of our terroir and the reputation of the Hlohovec region. On 17 hectares of their own vineyards, they grow varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Gris, Traminer Rot, Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon and Alibernet. All the wines of the Slobodné Vinárstvo company ferment spontaneously, with their own yeast. The wines then mature in stainless steel, wooden barrels or clay amphorae without any oenological tricks.

Only minimum doses of sulfur are used and the total sulfur content is indicated on each label. Thanks to this, their wines rank among the so-called natural wines, which are gaining more and more popularity. The essence of natural wine is the effort to the most natural form of wine. In Slobodné Vinárstvo, wine is perceived as a living organism and in its production emphasis is placed on craft precision and understanding of natural processes.
