Slobodné Vinárstvo Interval 109 2021 | White Dry Wine

The name Interval refers to the winemakers' grandfather, Eduard Herzog, who dedicated his life to classical music and interval scales. The wine was produced without skin maceration but was given plenty of time to mature in egg-shaped vessels (ovoids). As it was neither fined nor filtered, it retains its natural character and the pure energy of the Stavný háj vineyard site.

The wine displays a beautiful yellowish color, accompanied by a distinct spicy aroma. The palate is characterized by a piquant acidity and a long finish, while the wine maintains its typical freshness. Part of the Slovak Cru line, its ambition is to place Hlohovec Riesling on the world map. It combines family history, meticulous cellar work, and an uncompromising approach to winemaking without unnecessary intervention.

Serving: at a temperature of 10 – 12 °C with seafood, freshwater fish (e.g., grilled halibut), bold salads, or goat cheeses.
