Quince is a remarkably tricky fruit, resembling a cross between an apple and a pear in both look and taste, yet its processing is complicated by a tough, woody flesh and a leathery skin. The entire process of transforming this unforgiving fruit into a premium liquid is therefore carefully managed by master distiller Vierka. She oversees the slow distillation in small batches, utilizing exclusively freshly harvested quinces from local orchards in the Myjava hills (Myjavské kopanice), processed entirely without chemicals or artificial additives.

Time plays an essential role in the creation of this exceptional spirit. The distillate rests for a full 12 months in stainless steel tanks, allowing for natural maturation and a flawless integration of all flavor components. The result is a premium, clean spirit with a pleasant, refreshing taste and sweet citrus notes. To fully appreciate its unique fruity character, serving at room temperature is highly recommended. Any slight haze that may occur at temperatures below freezing is a natural sign of precious aromatic oils solidifying, which only confirms its authentic, natural origin.
