Mikkeller Brewery

Mikkeller is internationally recognized as one of the most innovative and trend-leading beer producers in the world with the attribute of a rock roll, nomadic, or gypsy brewery.

It was founded in 2006 by two homebrewers, Mikkel Borg Bjergsø and Kristian Klarup Keller. These days, Mikkeller exports beer to more than 40 countries around the world and organizes worldwide exclusive beer parties. Most of their famous beers are brewed in the Belgian brewery de Proef Brouwerij, which belongs to the very experienced brewer Dirk Naudts and his wife Saskia.

Mikkel has created a lot of cooperative beers with several recognized innovative microbreweries in the world: Three Floyds, BrewDog, De Struise, Hill Farmstead and Anchorage. He also produces homemade beer for some of the best and most famous gourmet restaurants in Denmark: Noma (Michelin), Mielcke & Hurtigkarl and Kiin Kiin (Michelin). During its existence, Mikkeller has produced more than 700 unique beers and this number is constantly growing.
