Wines prepared with a strict crop reduction and spontaneous fermentation - mostly in wooden barrels. Without the use of any foreign substances, such as yeast, enzymes and various preparations, which, although they make the winemaker's life easier, bring foreign tones into the wine and distort the true character of the Strekov terroir - such is the philosophy of the family authentic winery Kasnyik from the centre of the Strekov region - a place where some of the best wines in Slovakia are born. With its soil structure, Strekov differs from most vineyard villages in southern Slovakia. Calcareous, loamy-clay soil and exceptional microclimatic conditions are practically created for the cultivation of high-quality vines.

Kasnyik are wines that include the true values of our vineyards, the minerality of our homeland, as well as the humble work and faith of the winemaker and grape grower.
