Bodegas Vivanco La Isla Viñedo Singular 2019 | Red Wine

A unique wine from Rioja, crafted mainly from Tempranillo (96%), complemented by Moristel and Garnacha Tinta (2%), with a small proportion of white varieties Viura and Calagraño (2%). The grapes were hand-harvested, chilled, and carefully double-sorted before fermentation in small French oak vats at controlled temperatures up to 28 °C for about 20 days.

Part of the wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (225–500 L), while the rest matured on fine lees in stainless-steel tanks. After bottling, it continued to age for another 30 months in the cellar. The result is an elegant, structured, and balanced Rioja, expressing pure varietal character and depth.

Serving: at 16–18 °C, pairs beautifully with beef, lamb, game, mushroom dishes, aged cheeses, or Mediterranean cuisine.
