Velkeer Sauvignon Blanc 2024 | White Dry Wine

A variety with huge potential, which in this vintage draws from three distinct vineyard sites – Perešek, Kövecses, and the oldest site, Kántor's vineyard. The wine has a delicate greenish color, with fresh tones dominating at first glance. The bouquet is clean and subtle, built on aromas of sweet gooseberries and freshly cut grass with a drop of lime. It gradually allows hints of blackcurrant to emerge, beautifully rounding out the overall profile.

On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, straightforward, and exceptionally refreshing. Freshness is exactly what accompanies every single sip, where dominant notes of gooseberries and citrus are complemented by a juicy blackcurrant line. This is an extremely dry and very long wine, leaving a clean and fresh sensation in the finish. It is an honest representative of a modern style that emphasizes fruitiness and energy.

Serving: at a temperature of 10 – 12 °C, with salads, light appetizers, fish, or goat cheeses.
