Pereg Cuvée čierny Pereg | Red Sweet Chokeberry-Blackcurrant Wine

Pereg Cuvée čierny Pereg is an exclusive blend created by combining two distinctive fruit wines—delicate blackcurrant wine and extractive aronia (chokeberry) wine. This fusion results in a visually captivating beverage of deep amethyst colour with an elegant terracotta rim. Its complex aroma weaves together typical blackcurrant notes, worthily accompanied by the majestic scent of aronia.

The taste symphony of this cuvée is rich and layered. The dominant fruit components are rounded off in the finish by notes of cherries in dark chocolate with a subtle touch of freshly grated Ceylon cinnamon. Thanks to the precise ratio of both ingredients, Čierny Pereg offers a harmonious experience where the natural sweetness of currants meets the gentle tannins of aronia. It is a wine with a bold character, embodying the best traditions of Slovak fruit wine production.

Serving: at a temperature of 14 – 16 °C with dark meats, venison, roasted goose or duck, and dark chocolate desserts.
