This exceptional wine represents a unique project that combines the vision of winemaker Vladimír Magula with the professional expertise of world-renowned rosé expert Elizabeth Gabay MW and her son Ben Bernheim. Sen 2020 is a dream come true of a natural, dark rosé wine from a limited production, originating from two fascinating Slovak terroirs – loess in the Little Carpathians and volcanic soil in Veľký Krtíš. Blaufränkisch brings fresh notes of cherry fruit to the final blend, while the dominant Cabernet Sauvignon adds aromas of violets and a specific blue minerality, creating a complex and deep character perfect even for winter evenings.

The production process relied on a philosophy of minimal intervention, where after gentle maceration on the skins, spontaneous fermentation took place without the addition of selected yeasts. The wine then matured for 11 months in used Bordeaux barrels on the lees, gaining natural structure and the ability to breathe elegantly without the influence of new oak. This unfiltered and unfined organic wine is a living organism with true character and subtle imperfections that faithfully reflect honest winemaking and the pure expression of grapes in their most natural form.

Serving: at a temperature of 11 – 12 °C, with appetizers, white meat, or veal.
