Planteray Rum (formerly Plantation Rum) is a craft rum brand crafted by Maison Ferrand under the leadership of master blender Alexandre Gabriel. Its mission is to celebrate the diversity of rum terroirs around the world—from the Caribbean to the Pacific. Each expression reflects its place of origin, local culture, and traditional distillation methods.

Planteray Rum is produced in collaboration with West Indies Rum Distillery and other traditional Caribbean producers. Production respects time-honored techniques, reviving ancestral fermentation methods and historical pot stills. Its signature double ageing involves tropical maturation at the origin followed by a second ageing in French oak casks, producing a refined, complex character.

Sustainability is central to the brand. Planteray is a member of the ProTerra Foundation and AMFORI, ensuring ethical sourcing of sugarcane. In Barbados, in partnership with local farmers and West Indies Rum Distillery, they cultivate sugarcane and coconuts for select editions.

Planteray bottles are wrapped in raffia, symbolizing the sugarcane heritage, the sun, and connection to nature. The portfolio includes core blends, limited editions, single cask releases, and vintage rums—each capturing a unique expression of terroir.
