This amber Trappist ale was brewed as a tribute to the significant anniversary of the Koningshoeven Abbey's founding and bears the name of its first master brewer. The recipe combines barley and wheat malts, giving the beer extraordinary harmony and a balance between complexity and simplicity. In the glass, it impresses with a warm colour and a soft white head, while in gastronomy, it perfectly complements grilled vegetables, roasted meat, or mature cow's milk cheeses.

The bouquet is a lovely combination of herbal, floral, and fruity aromas, creating a fresh and engaging opening. The palate evolves from initial fruity notes to rich malty caramel, which forms the core of this amber brew.
