Slobodné Vinárstvo Partisan Cru noir 2019 | Red Dry Wine

Regarded as the winery’s flagship and their "Super-Blaufränkisch," this wine represents the absolute best of the vintage. The core is Blaufränkisch, sensitively supported by Cabernet Sauvignon and Alibernet. Each variety fermented separately in open vats with manual punching down, followed by 18 months of aging in lightly toasted oak barrels. The final blend is determined through several tasting sessions until a perfectly harmonious balance is achieved.

The wine embodies a cool-climate style—combining the juicy red fruit typical of Blaufränkisch with the darker berries, blackcurrants, and silky tannins of the Cabernets. The label carries the original century-old stamp of the winery, while the name Partisan pays tribute to great-uncle Peter, who fought in the Slovak National Uprising. This is an honest artisanal wine, unfiltered and free of enological additives, carrying a profound family story.

Serving: at a temperature of 16 – 18 °C, with beef preparations, roasted duck, or venison.
