This excellent Welschriesling from the South Slovak wine region (village of Strekov) represents a complex and structured expression of the variety. The Kasnyik family winery produces it using traditional methods as a certified organic wine with minimal cellar intervention. The wine features an intense golden-yellow color and an expressive aroma dominated by a diverse palette of citrus, green apples, and pears, complemented by subtle floral and earthy notes.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, juicy, and elegant, precisely mirroring its aromatic impressions. A distinct trace of citrus pulp is balanced by fresh acidity, providing the wine with depth and harmony. The finish is long and markedly mineral, a typical characteristic of the unique Strekov terroir.

Serving: at 9–12°C; pairs well with simple fish dishes—ideally grilled sea bass with arugula and basil pesto—as well as veal specialties and spicy vegetable salads.
