Tokaj Macik Winery

Tokaj Macik Winery is a family winery that has had wine in its blood for four generations. This renowned winery continues the rich family tradition and today bears the name TOKAJ MACIK WINERY. It has been operating on a family basis for 29 years and has earned prestigious awards through its hard work, including 3x WINERY OF THE YEAR title and 7x WINE OF THE YEAR award.

The winery's products come from its own BIO vineyards, which makes it the only BIO certified winery in the Tokaj Wine Region. The winery's motto "No chemicals in the vineyard and the same applies in the cellar" consistently reflects its philosophy of sustainability and honest work.

Today, the winery's vision is fulfilled by the fourth and fifth generations of the family, namely Erik, Erika, Šimon and Jaro, who together write the next chapters of this winemaking story. Tokaj wines from their production have found their way to more than 15 countries around the world and have been included in the menus of several Michelin-starred restaurants - specifically in more than 25 such establishments.
