Poppels Bryggeri, located in Jonsered near Gothenburg, Sweden, was founded in 2012 by a group of passionate beer enthusiasts aiming to bring high-quality craft beer to a wider audience. Starting in borrowed breweries, they soon established their own facility in a renovated historic factory hall.

In 2015 they shifted entirely to organic brewing and have since become Sweden’s largest organic craft brewery. Known for its dedication to freshness, sustainability, and quality, Poppels produces unfiltered, unpasteurized beers crafted from clean, simple ingredients for a naturally complex taste. Their focus lies primarily on hop-forward styles like IPA and NEIPA, alongside barrel-aged and experimental series.

The brewery includes a spacious taproom set within a charming industrial environment, where guests can enjoy core beers as well as limited editions accompanied by thoughtfully paired food.
