Opre´ is more than just cider – it’s the true story of two brothers who combined experience, passion, and skill to create something remarkable. The Oprendek brothers didn’t have to find each other – they grew up side by side, and it was only natural to unite two heads, four hands, and a pinch of courage.

Gabriel, a marketing student in Denmark, loved to travel and often returned home with local ciders – a drink widely enjoyed abroad but nearly absent in Slovakia at the time. These informal tastings became special moments for friends and family, especially for his brother Radoslav, a skilled technician and biology enthusiast.

The idea of making their own cider quickly took root. Through a year of trials, bold experiments, and hands-on craftsmanship, the brothers developed a recipe that became the foundation for Opre´.

Today, Opre´ stands as one of the few leading names in Slovak cider. Made by fermenting real apple juice using traditional methods, their cider is honest, fresh, and handcrafted – a golden drink that reflects the spirit of two brothers and their shared love for doing things their own way.
