Hyde No.9 Iberian Cask 43% is a premium Irish single malt whiskey combining delicate elegance with rich fruity complexity. Triple distilled in a traditional copper pot still from 100% malted barley, it initially matures for at least 8 years in bourbon casks, imparting depth, subtle vanilla and caramel notes. It is then finished for 9 months in first‑fill Tawny Port casks from the Douro Valley, Portugal, adding sweet fruit aromas and a gentle spiced structure.

The nose reveals dried dark fruits with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and blackberry. The palate is balanced, showing notes of green apples, honey, citrus, spice, dried fruit and hazelnuts, finishing with a buttery vanilla nuance. The medium‑long finish is malty, fruity and slightly spiced, making it perfect for slow, contemplative sipping.
