Blue Mauritius Reserva 40% 700ml

Blue Mauritius Reserva 40% | Dark Rum

Blue Mauritius Reserva 40% is the embodiment of purity and the natural character of the island of Mauritius. Unlike its Gold sibling, the Reserva version focuses on the authentic expression of sugarcane and a precise distillation process without significant influence from fortified wine casks. Crafted from premium molasses, this rum matures in French oak barrels, which provide a delicate structure and nobility. It is the choice for those seeking a balanced, less sweet profile who wish to experience the true terroir of the Indian Ocean in its most natural form.

The bouquet is fresh and elegant, with prevailing notes of fresh sugarcane, gentle spice, and a hint of citrus zest. Upon the first sip, Blue Mauritius Reserva 40% surprises with its directness and clarity. The palate reveals layers of vanilla and light wood, accompanied by a subtle nutty finish and a trace of white flowers. The body of the rum is medium-full and feels very refreshing, making it an ideal companion for long summer evenings. The finish is drier, clean, and leaves a warming sensation with a slightly spicy aftertaste that underscores its premium origin.
