Karpatská Perla, Slovakia

Karpatská Perla is a family winery from Šenkvice, located in the Little Carpathian wine region. It was founded in 1991 by Margita and Ladislav Šebovci, who have built the winery on the belief that “pearls are born in the vineyard.” From the very beginning, their focus has been on careful vineyard management and the production of high-quality grapes as the foundation of every great wine.

Since 2019, the winery has been cultivating its vineyards under certified organic  standards, giving its wines an authentic expression of the region. Each bottle reflects the terroir of the Little Carpathians – its soil, climate, and vintage. The result is wine full of freshness, purity, and balance that captures the essence of its origin.

The winery’s portfolio includes a wide range of wines – from whites and reds to sparkling wines and grape juice. Karpatská Perla manages more than 60 hectares of its own vineyards, including the prestigious Suchý vrch site, always aiming to craft wines with character and outstanding quality.

Today, Karpatská Perla is considered one of Slovakia’s leading wineries. Its wines regularly earn awards both at home and abroad, and the winery offers guided tastings and tours that highlight its story of family tradition, innovative winemaking, and passion for viticulture.
