Čierny Kameň is a craft brewery located in the village of Liptovské Revúce, nestled in the valley of the Veľká Fatra mountains. Deeply inspired by the surrounding nature and local heritage, the brewery began as a small gypsy operation and gradually grew into a fully independent facility, where traditional brewing methods meet a modern, creative approach. Its name refers to a striking rock formation that rises above the village.

At the heart of their philosophy lie quality, freshness, and a strong connection to local ingredients – especially pure mountain water from beneath the Čierny Kameň massif, Slovak malt, and carefully selected hops from around the world. All beers are unfiltered and unpasteurized, preserving their natural flavour, aroma, and living character. The brewery offers a diverse range: from refreshing session ales and IPAs to bold NEIPAs, modern hop-forward styles, fruity sours, and rich porters.

Čierny Kameň values community and transparency. While the brewery itself is not open to public tours, it actively collaborates with other European craft breweries and distributes its beer to venues across the country. Thanks to a growing delivery network, their beers are now accessible nationwide.

Complementing the brewery is a local beer bar and restaurant in the centre of Ružomberok – a warm and welcoming space that regularly hosts cultural events, music nights, and community gatherings. With this, Čierny Kameň strengthens the region’s identity, promotes craft beer culture, and acts as a hub for a small but vibrant community.
