To Ol Smoke On The Porter Fire In The Rye BA 2023 is an imperial porter aged for 12 months in a blend of bourbon, rye whiskey, rum and cognac barrels. The beer is brewed with a generous amount of smoked and rye malts, creating deep layers of roasted grain, smoke and dark bread. Barrel aging adds further complexity – caramel and charred oak from bourbon, molasses and warmth from rum, dried fruit from cognac and a subtle spicy rye character.
