Ridgeway Foreign Export Stout is a strong and traditional English stout crafted in the historic export style. It opens with rich aromas of roasted malt, fresh espresso and dark chocolate, followed by spicy undertones. Bottle-conditioning allows it to mature over time, much like a vintage port, gradually revealing new flavour layers such as caramel, liquorice and dried fruit while maintaining a firm backbone of classic English bitterness.

The taste is full-bodied, smooth and warming, with intense notes of dark chocolate, coffee and roasted malt, complemented by hints of raisins and caramel sweetness. The finish is dry, robust and subtly bitter, highlighting the earthy English hops. This stout is both powerful and refined, ideal for slow sipping or ageing in the bottle.
