Barrique Noire is a complex imperial Baltic porter aged in French crème de cassis barrels. The barrel character brings a deep blackcurrant note and a smooth wine-like fruitiness, complementing the robust base of roasted malts. Expect flavours of cocoa, coffee and light smokiness, supported by a subtle mineral saltiness in the background. The cassis barrels add rounded sweetness and dark-fruit depth.

The flavour profile builds from roasted bitterness to rich blackcurrant, dark plum and raisin tones, finishing long and persistent with a balanced, liqueur-like sweetness. The oak ageing contributes soft vanilla and spice nuances, making this a bold, full-bodied beer with excellent ageing potential.
