Lindemans Gueuze Dark Cuvée René 2024 is a bold and innovative lambic created to honor René Lindemans, the fifth generation of the family, on his 85th birthday. This limited edition (20,000 bottles) combines traditional spontaneous fermentation with the innovative use of roasted wheat, giving it a deep dark color. The lambic matures for two years in oak casks and is then refined for an additional year in 20-year-old Cognac barrels, resulting in a masterful blend of complexity and subtle Cognac notes.

The flavor balances fresh acidity, soft malt sweetness, and warm, spicy Cognac tones, while the aroma offers ripe apples, oak, and a hint of smoke. The long, elegant finish makes it a truly exceptional gueuze for adventurous connoisseurs and those seeking a refined Belgian beer experience.
