Liefmans Goudenband is one of the most unique beers in the world. This reddish-brown ale is the result of mixed fermentation, followed by a maturation of 4 to 12 months until it reaches the perfect balance. Its aroma combines refreshing notes with light sour hints of caramel, apple, rhubarb, and cherry, creating an unmistakable character.

The flavour is dry, with a lightly caramelised malt backbone, enriched by fruity tones, subtle hints of nuts, and raisins. Thanks to the unique interplay of time, craftsmanship, and nature, it retains its exceptional profile even after years of ageing, making it a true gem among Belgian beers.
