Stella 17 is a highly esteemed limited edition collaboration between Denmark's Mikkeller and Belgium's 3 Fonteinen. This extraordinary floral lambic was released in honor of Mikkel's daughter Stella for her 17th birthday. Stella herself personally participated in designing and shaping the flavor profile right among the barrels in Belgium. The beer was released on the market in extremely limited quantities.

This unique specialty was created by macerating fresh elderflowers in a three-year-old lambic. Following a few days of maceration, the beer aged further in oak barrels and was then masterfully blended with both young and old lambics. Upon release, the weighted average age of the lambics in the bottle exceeds 3 years. The use of elderflowers infuses the drink with an intense yet remarkably elegant floral aroma.
