Apimed is a family-run meadery based in Dolná Krupej, Slovakia, with roots in traditional beekeeping dating back to the early 1980s. Since 1998, it has specialized in processing honey and crafting mead. The company’s philosophy is to create products made from premium Slovak honey, with respect for nature, ingredients, and craftsmanship.

Each mead at Apimed tells its own story – reflecting the character of different honeys such as blossom, acacia, or forest honey. In addition to classic meads, Apimed also produces fruit- and herb-infused varieties and an exclusive barrel-aged collection matured in oak. Thanks to its dedication to quality and authenticity, Apimed has earned numerous prestigious awards both locally and internationally.

The Medolandia experience centre, located next to the meadery, invites visitors to discover the process of mead-making and beekeeping, stroll through a rose garden with thousands of roses, taste mead on site, and shop a selection of bee-based products. The company also supplies its meads and honeys to retailers, hotels, and restaurants across Slovakia and exports to several countries.
